Brearley & Co in the Community – Anston Rangers Junior Football Club

Anston Rangers JFC was formed in 2011 and currently has over 11 teams ranging from U7 to U15. They also run a soccer school for children aged 4-5.

The club currently have over 200 boys and girls from the Anston, Dinnington and surrounding villages involved weekly in training sessions and playing matches all overseen by qualified FA coaches who are all volunteers and give up their time so the children can enjoy football in a fun and safe environment.

The club prides itself on being part of the community with the ethos being to put the child’s enjoyment first.

Gareth Rusling, volunteer (right) said “Through connections with the team at Brearley & Co the management agreed to sponsor a kit for 2 years for the current U12 team. Without commitment from the local businesses such as Brearleys the club could not afford to purchase kit for the children to play in. Mark Smallman has also given us some initial advice on the future constitution of the club should a pending planning application be accepted. “

The current application on land at Common Road, North Anston, if approved would provide a purpose built up to date facility for the club to grow and local children to enjoy football and keep healthy for generations to come.
