The accountancy practice was founded by Giles Brearley in 1984 and occupied premises at 41, Bridge Street, Swinton. Since then we have expanded in terms of clients, staff and premises to become a practice that offers its clients everything their business could need under one roof. Why be unsure or worried when help is at hand?
Over the past 20 years we have developed a multi skill practice which can provide a full professional service with added value to our expanding client base. We currently employ 30 staff who work in small teams each responsible for their own portfolio therefore providing more continuity and quality management of our clients expectations.
The objective of our Team is to help you "work on it" , not "always in it". To stand back and take an overall look at yourself and your business, which you are often unable to do because of your closeness to it.
Constant reorganisation is needed to keep up with the changing world and to stay ahead. The Romans did a great job of it until the 5th century when they took their eye off the ball and the rest became history.
Profitability should always be affordable and it can be. Our northern clients benefit from our expertise. The vast void between the north and the south and the shrinking world means we can offer London and the south a full, professional service at amazing fee levels they haven't had for years. We have a permanent residency near Richmond for regular liaison with clients.
