Ben Raises over £1500 for Cancer Research UK with 5K a Day Challenge

Ben Kay, based at our Dinnington office has completed an incredible 5K a day challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK, raising over £1500 for the charity in the process. The money raised by Ben will go towards vital cancer research, helping to fund projects and trials that will bring us closer to finding a cure for this devastating disease.

Ben, who set himself the challenge to run 5 kilometres every day for a month, had initially set a target of £750. However, his determination and hard work paid off as he smashed his target, raising double the amount he had hoped for.

After losing a close friend to cancer, Ben was inspired to take on the challenge to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is close to his heart. He said, "I wanted to do something to help, and I thought the 5K a day challenge was a great way to raise awareness and funds for an important cause."

Throughout the month, Ben kept his supporters updated on his progress, sharing his daily runs on his Just Giving page. This fundraising page received donations from friends, family, and colleagues.
