Supporting Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice

Following the fantastic casino night and charity auction that Brearley & Co and Alexander Calder Financial hosted together at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, we were delighted to present Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice with the proceeds of our charity event, a cheque for over £1300. 

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice provides respite care, physiotherapy, end-of-life care, and bereavement support to children and their families.  

This local charity provides care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and relies heavily on donations and fundraising efforts to support its operations. Whilst the hospice receives £500k pa Government/NHS funding, it is not enough to cover the £5 million per year needed to run the facility, making the fundraising work of community organisations and individuals vital to its continued success.

As Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice approaches its 15th anniversary in 2023, it is a time to reflect on the incredible work that has been done and to look forward to a future where the hospice can continue to provide essential care and support to those who need it most.
