Companies House changes online payments to gov.uk service

Companies House has confirmed that it has changed its card payment provider which means anyone paying a bill will be directed to a gov.uk pay screen to make a payment on the online service

Barclaycard, the current payment provider, has been replaced by GOV.UK Pay. This means there will be a different screen when you make a payment on some online services from the beginning of September.

As a result of the development work needed for this change, you will not be able to use PayPal to make payments on services on the following dates:

WebFiling – between 6 September and mid-October

Companies House online incorporation services – between 23 September and mid-October

WebCHeck – between 23 September and mid-October

During these times payments will have to be made by debit or credit card instead.
